Note that these are averages daily maximum and minimum temperatures .Summer peaks in Aswan ,Hurghada or Sinai , for example ,can hit the 120˚sF(low 50˚sC) in hot years .the dryness of the air and absence of cloud cover makes for drastic fluctuations , though they do also make the heat tolerably unsticky outside Cairo and the Delta. The Mediterranean Coast can be windy and wet in winter.
